Li Mu recalls the events of two years ago, during the Qin and Zhao alliance. However, after witnessing reinforcements arrive from the summit of the mountain, Xin reassured them. Everyone believes Ziu is doomed when Li Mu’s army succeeds to assault Zui the next morning. When Zheng learned what Xine had told him, he refused to obey the General’s commands. As for tomorrow, Xin says they plan on going all out. Xin rushed to Ying Zheng’s room to deliver him the news, but he wasn’t sure what to say. They assigned Xin the task of delivering the message to His Highness due to their confidence in his ability to persuade him. One of the generals inquires if His Highness should go along with it or not. They’re unsure about how they should guard the King. Ying Zheng can’t die here, the General tells them, for not even King Zhao has been able to reverse the changes in Ziu.
However, if His Highness Ying Zheng lives, they will start a new country since He is not your average King. The General responds by saying that if His Highness dies with Zui, they will lose much more, since Qin would be killed. Xing adds that if it happens, all of their hard work would be for naught. If they let Zheng to escape, Zui will be overthrown, and it will be Zui’s troops who betrayed him in his struggle for the Kingdom.
